This is the regular price; check the service for current promotions and the price of your chosen term. The Honeycomber Club quarterly box on Cratejoy sends three raw honeys from family-owned U.S. apiaries every three months for $36.49 a box on a 6-month term or $34.74 a box on a 12-month term, with free shipping; Honeycomber also sells a monthly plan with three new honeys a month on its own site. Hon's Honey has the lowest entry price: its Raw Honey Subscription starts at $17 a month and lets you choose one, two or three honeys a month. Are Honey Subscriptions Worth It Compared to Buying Individually?
It depends on how you buy honey now. If you already have a local beekeeper you like, a subscription is probably not worth the premium: you pay more per jar and you cannot choose what arrives. Subscriptions make sense in two cases. The first is exploring: tasting orange blossom honey, tupelo honey and buckwheat honey side by side teaches you more about flavor and color than any description, and someone else does the sourcing. How Do You Cancel or Pause a Honey Subscription?
Check the renewal terms before you subscribe. The Honeycomber Club's Cratejoy plans renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime in your Cratejoy account. Hon's Honey's monthly subscriptions also renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time. Amazing Clubs sells both ongoing memberships, which ship until you cancel, and prepaid 3, 6 and 12 month plans that end after the last delivery; for an ongoing membership, contact Amazing Clubs before your next billing date. Prepaid plans are rarely refundable once they start, so pick the length carefully. If you only need a break, look for a skip or pause option in your account before cancelling outright.
